Terms of Use
Pre-launch draft · Updated October 15, 2026. These policies are being finalized before the app’s public release.
These Terms govern use of FinancierOne. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. FinancierOne helps you organize information and make plans; it is not a bank and does not move money for you.
Who may use FinancierOne
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms in your location. If you are not an adult, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts responsibility for your use. The app is not intended for children under 13. You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.
Your account and security
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password, device, recovery links, and invitation codes secure. Tell us promptly through the available support channel if you suspect unauthorized access. We may require you to verify control of an account before restoring access or acting on a sensitive request. Do not use another person’s account without permission.
What the app does and does not do
FinancierOne lets you manually record income, expenses, accounts, debts, goals, receipts, shopping lists, notes, and household plans. It can calculate estimates, projections, reminders, and payoff scenarios from the information entered. Entries that say a bill was paid, money was transferred, or a balance changed are records in FinancierOne; they do not pay a bill, move funds, change a real bank account, or notify a creditor.
The app does not currently connect to bank or investment accounts for live balances. You must verify dates, balances, minimum payments, interest rates, and other important figures with the relevant financial institution. A missed notification, sync delay, calculation error, or incorrect entry does not change an obligation you have to a third party.
No individualized financial advice
FinancierOne provides educational and planning information, not individualized financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Its optimizer, payoff order, health indicators, and encouraging messages are estimates or general guidance, not a guarantee of savings or an instruction to buy, sell, borrow, or repay in a particular way. Consider a qualified professional for decisions that require professional advice.
Your content and permissions
You keep ownership of information, notes, messages, and images you enter. You give the FinancierOne provider a limited permission to host, process, back up, display, and transmit that content solely to operate, secure, improve, and support the service as described in the Privacy Policy. You must have the right to add any information or image you upload, including information about another household member. Do not upload material that is unlawful, harmful, or unrelated to the service.
Household sharing
Household features let invited people review a plan and share selected information. Check the invitation, member role, contribution settings, and list of shared items before you accept. Your role and household mode determine what you may view or edit. Each member is responsible for their own private information and sharing choices.
Changing a shared item to private is designed to remove that item and its history from the other member’s shared app view. It cannot retract information someone already saw, copied, exported, or shared outside FinancierOne. Leaving or ending a household may change access to shared information. Use these features only with people you trust.
Free and Premium features
The Free experience remains available without a paid subscription, subject to these Terms. Some planning, receipt, notification, and household features require Premium. Available features may change over time, but we will not charge you without the store purchase flow showing the price and terms for your approval. A preview or beta entitlement is not a promise of permanent Premium access.
Subscriptions and trials
If paid subscriptions are offered, the App Store or Google Play will present the current price, billing period, trial terms, and renewal information before you confirm. A free trial starts only when you complete the applicable store signup. Unless you cancel before the trial or billing period ends, the store may charge the payment method associated with your store account according to the terms shown at checkout. Prices and taxes may vary by country and store.
You can manage or cancel a subscription through the store account used to buy it. Deleting the app or your FinancierOne account does not necessarily cancel a store subscription. Refunds are handled by the applicable store and any mandatory consumer-protection law. If Premium ends, your account can return to the Free feature set; we do not promise that every Premium-only view will remain available.
Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the app or its security, access another person’s data without authorization, misuse invitations or chat, upload malicious code, impersonate someone, use automated methods that burden the service, or use FinancierOne for an unlawful purpose. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, data, or the service, and will provide notice where appropriate or required by law.
Availability and changes
We work to keep FinancierOne available and accurate, but cloud services, mobile networks, operating systems, and third-party services may be interrupted. Offline changes may not appear on another device until a successful sync. We may repair, change, or discontinue features. If a material change adversely affects paid access, we will provide any notice or remedy required by law or the applicable store rules. Back up important information and confirm critical financial obligations outside the app.
Deleting an account
You may export a backup and request account deletion through More → Data Management → Erase app and account. Deletion is intended to remove your active account and app data and is not reversible. A backup or screenshot you made outside the app will not be deleted for you. If you are in a household, deletion can also end your participation and change what other members see. Cancel any store subscription separately before or after deleting the account.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, code, branding, and other materials supplied by FinancierOne belong to the provider or its licensors. These Terms give you a personal, limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the app while you comply with them. They do not transfer ownership of the app or limit your ownership of your own content.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided as available without a promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular financial outcome. We are not responsible for a payment you did not make, an account balance you did not verify, or a decision made solely from an estimate in the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
Limits on liability
To the extent allowed by law, the FinancierOne provider is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or opportunities, arising from use of the app. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for FinancierOne in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100 if you paid nothing. This limit does not apply where the law forbids it, including liability that cannot be limited for fraud, willful misconduct, or other protected claims.
Law and disputes
Mandatory consumer rights and privacy protections that apply where you live are not excluded by these Terms. If a concern arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Any court process will be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction, subject to rights you have under applicable law. These Terms do not require private arbitration or waive a right to participate in a class action.
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. We will update the date shown with the document and give additional notice or ask for consent when required. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using the service and delete your account if you wish.
